ABOUT MOLDOVA CYBER WEEK 2021
The 9th edition of the “Moldova Cyber Week” is titled as Cyber Resilience Forum. As organizations are digitally transforming their operations and processes, this has also increased business risks and has opened up new opportunities for cyber attackers. In addition, COVID-19 also exacerbated the digital transformation risks and presented new challenges for cyber security leaders across the globe. Attackers are exploiting newfound uncertainties or changes in circumstances and processes, and thus, there has been an unprecedented increase in cyber-attacks.
The objectives of the Cyber Security Month are: to encourage the public to embrace a more sustained, proactive approach towards online safety and to promote awareness and dialogue about the dangers online. The Moldova Cyber Week prides itself that empowers community engagement, focuses on dialogue on cybersecurity issues by engagement with diverse member groups such as national and international governmental entities, industry, academia and research institutions and non-profits. The Moldova Cyber Week is a collective effort with a hands-on approach that empowers online safety and leans into current cyber issues with a critical analytical landscape.

CALL FOR SPEAKERS
MCW 2021 is seeking speaking proposals for its Cyber Resilience Forum 2021. Our current expectation is that event will feature a hybrid approach, offering in-person and virtual experiences designed to give attendees a mix of opportunities for learning, networking and collaboration. We are planning to hold the event November 23-25, 2021, physically in Chișinău and virtually through the event platform.
This Call for Speakers (CFS) is for conference presentations held on November 23rd. Now in its 9th year, Moldova Cyber Week brings together experts and leaders from industry, government and academia to address the challenges of today’s threat landscape. Previous conferences have averaged in-person attendance of more than 250 people from 14+ countries. This year, we expect the event to gather a larger audience, as we are creating a robust virtual experience to complement the on-site event.
